Update - PLT File Viewers
This has proven to be a popular page, so I thought I would repost it at the top, with one corrected URL, and a few more applications I have run across.

The FREE Viewers are:
BIT-View: HPGL/2, RTL, TIFF, JPG
Oce Publisher: DWG, DXF, HPGL, HPGL/2, RTL, TIFF, CALS, DWF, PS, PDF, LDF.

The not-so-quite free ones:
SPLOT
View Companion Pro
RePlot
CERN HPGL Viewer
Fplot
EteCad
PentaLogix ViewMate
PloComp
CadSoftTools ABViewer
CadViewer (applet/API)
RxView

If you think you might want to convert a PLT file to a DWG or DXF file, check this out.

If you use any of these applications, let me know how it goes.

I'd appreciate if you could add SCP's DaylightRIP (www.scp.de) and reprocontrol.net (www.reprocontrol.net) to the list of the "not so free" viewers. Both are commercial applications for viewing, printing, converting and plotmanagement.

Both of those products look like applications that function only within a hardware/software system, similar to Oce Repro Desk (which is not in the list either). I'll leave your comment though.

Hello

I use SPLOT for years and like it very much. It offers very useful functions in trimming, zoom, plot, measuring, size calculation, batch functions, Explorer tools and a very fine handling of HP-RTL data (this is where some other viewers have a lot of problems).
